Vale to set up green steel feedstock plants in Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Oman
The Middle Eastern hubs will produce HBI for global steelmakers moving towards industrial decarbonization.
Brazilian mining company Vale announced via press release on 1 November that it had signed agreements with local authorities and clients in in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and the Sultanate of Oman to study the development of hot briquetted iron (HBI) production sites in the three regions.
