Gotion High-Tech to invest USD1.6 billion in two new battery plants in China
The new investments are aimed at expanding Gotion’s annual battery production capacity in China by 30 GWh in the midterm
China-based battery maker Gotion High-Tech plans to invest a total of CNY 11.5 billion (USD1.6 billion) in setting up two new battery plants in an attempt to expand its manufacturing capacity in mainland China, according to a news report published by the CNEVPOST on 26 October 2022.
