Hitachi Astemo develops steer-by-wire prototype that allows for flexible cabin space
The steer-by-wire technology is expected to enhance, expand in-vehicle seating space in future vehicles
Hitachi Astemo has developed prototype of a new steer-by-wire steering system that eliminates the conventional steering wheel and helps expand vehicle cabin space, the supplier said in a press release on 20 October.
