Test vehicles are geofenced to the northwest section of San Francisco and are only permitted to run between 10 pm and 6 am

On 17 October 2022, the self-driving division of General Motors, Cruise announced in a social media post that production of its autonomous, all-electric, ride-sharing Origin robo-taxi will begin in the coming months.
