Wu’s onboarding happens at a time when Ford is looking to scale up EV volumes in China; Wu will be based in Shanghai and report to Ford China president Anning Chen

US automaker Ford Motor Company has appointed Sam Wu as the new managing director and chief operating officer of Ford China, the company announced on 29 September 2022. Wu will join Ford China from 1 October 2022 and will be based in Shanghai and report to Ford China President Anning Chen, the company said in a statement Thursday.
