Teijin develops new lightweight multi-material enclosure for EV batteries
The enclosure is lighter than typical steel casings and has better temperature resistance than typical aluminum casings
Plastics manufacturing company Teijin Automotive Technologies announced via press release on 12 September that its multi-material battery enclosure design had received the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) ACCE People’s Choice Award.
