Shougang partners with Rio Tinto to develop green steel technologies

The companies plan to research technologies related to low-carbon sintering, furnace optimization, and carbon capture and utilization

Anglo-Australian mining company Rio Tinto announced via press release on 22 September that it had signed an MoU with Chinese steel manufacturer Shougang Group to promote the research and development (R&D) and implementation of green steelmaking technologies.
