Mercedes-Benz Vans, Rivian sign MoU on joint production of electric vans
Both companies plan to produce two large vans, one based on VAN.EA, electric-only platform of Mercedes‑Benz Vans, and the other based on the second generation electric-van, Rivian Light Van (RLV) platform
Mercedes‑Benz Vans, a full range provider of electric private and commercial vans, and US EV maker Rivian, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to cooperate on the production of electric vans, the two companies said in a joint announcement on 8 September 2022.
