Leopold Kostal develops EV charging cable connectors using Lanxess’ flame-retardant plastic
The glass fiber-reinforced polyamide provides charging connectors high tracking resistance and flame retardance
German chemical company Lanxess announced via press release on 30 August that German supplier of automotive, industrial, and solar electrics Leopold Kostal GmbH & Co. KG had manufactured wall-mounted charging cable connectors for electric vehicles using its Durethan BKV20FN01 polyamide 6 (PA6) plastic.
