Xiaomi plans to build own automotive factory in China
Xiaomi Auto's headquarters will be located in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area
In a report published on 1 September 2022 by Sina Tech, two insiders have claimed that Xiaomi Auto is extremely unlikely to purchase BAIC's plant and does not intend to switch to an OEM manufacturing mode, choosing instead to construct its own facility.
