Tata Steel partners with McDermott, Danieli, Hatch to decarbonize Ijmuiden steel mill
The three companies will help Tata Steel set up a low-emission hydrogen-based steelmaking plant at the Dutch site.
Italian industrial machinery supplier Danieli, US engineering services provider McDermott, and Canadian engineering consultancy Hatch announced via press release on 29 and 31 August that they have been selected by Tata Steel for partnership on the Heracless (Hydrogen-Era-Carbon-Less) project.
