CATL to supply Qilin batteries to US-based EV maker SERES
CATL has signed a five-year strategic cooperation agreement with mainland Chinese automaker Chongqing Sokon-backed SERES to supply long-range Qilin batteries to latter’s AITO models
Contemporary Amperex Technology Company Limited (CATL), mainland China’s largest electric vehicle (EV) battery manufacturing company, announced on 27 August 2022 that it has signed a five-year long-term strategic cooperation agreement with US-based EV maker SERES. Under the agreement, CATL will provide its Qilin range of EV batteries to SERES’ new AITO models and that all AITO models will be equipped with the batteries sourced from CATL.
