Mercedes-Benz begins production of all-electric EQS SUV at Alabama, US plant
Mercedes-Benz’s Tuscaloosa plant will also produce the EQS SUV and EQE SUV later this year
Mercedes-Benz has commenced the production of its all-electric EQS SUV at the Tuscaloosa plant in Alabama, US, the company announced on 25 August 2022. The production of the EQS SUV marks a key step in Mercedes-Benz’s global initiative to produce eight all-electric vehicles at seven sites on three continents this year.
