Salzgitter partners with Primetals to set up new EAF green steel plant in Germany
The new plant will supply downstream consumers with 1.9 million tons of virtually CO2-free steel from the end of 2025
German steel manufacturer Salzgitter announced via press release on 24 August that it had signed a contract for the engineering, supply, and erection of an electric arc furnace (EAF) with British engineering company Primetals Technologies.
