Mercedes-Benz, Pyrum Innovations, and BASF develop closed-loop supply chain for interior plastics
Plastic made using recycled tire oil is being used to manufacture bow door handles for the new EQE and S-Class.
German automaker Mercedes-Benz announced via press release on 24 August that it had partnered with German tire recycling company Pyrum Innovations and German chemical company BASF to develop bow door handles made out of sustainable plastic.
