Xiaomi Auto to source batteries from BYD and CATL for its electric cars
The first electric car from Xiaomi Auto will come in two variants, with the lower-trim to feature BYD's LFP-based Blade battery and the premium-trim to feature CATL's recently unveiled Qilin battery
Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi’s automotive arm, Xiaomi Auto plans to source batteries from the country’s two largest battery makers, CATL and BYD, according to a news report published by the CNEVPOST on 17 August 2022.
