Tesla signs contracts worth USD5 billion to source refined nickel from Indonesia
The EV automaker signed a five-year offtake agreement with companies operating out of Sulawesi Island
News agency Reuters reported on 8 August that US automaker Tesla had signed contracts worth USD5 billion to buy materials for batteries from nickel processing companies in Indonesia.
