Alcoa expands aluminum casting capacity at Deschambault smelter with USD8 million investment
The new casting equipment will allow the company to produce smaller batches of foundry alloys for the automotive industry
American aluminium company Alcoa announced via press release on 8 July that it had invested USD8 million to increase casting capabilities at its 287,000-ton Deschambault smelter in Canada to include standard ingots.
