Nokian Tyres to record USD313-million asset impairment as part of Russian exit
The company is investing in new capacity in Europe to make up for the drop in production resulting from the planned exit.
Finnish tire manufacturer Nokian announced via a press release on 28 June that its board of directors had decided to initiate a controlled exit from the Russian market in response to tightening sanctions affecting its operations in the area.
