The UK government to study the development and deployment of connected, self-driving cars
The investigation include, among others, regulation, perceptions of safety, and the role of the government
The Law Commission of England and Wales is seeking views on the regulation of remote driving on public roads, expanding on previous suggestions from the Law Commission and Scottish Law Commission for change to enable “the safe and responsible introduction of automated vehicles”, according to a news article published by UK Parliament on 27 June 2022.
