Umicore, Idemitsu to develop catholyte materials for solid-state batteries
The two companies will combine their individual competencies in CAM and solid electrolyte technologies to develop catholytes for the growing solid-state battery market
Belgian materials company Umicore announced via press release on 22 June that it had agreed to partner with Japanese petroleum company Idemitsu Kosan Co. to jointly develop high-performance catholyte materials for solid-state batteries.
