The intersection-assistance technologies help the elderly cross junctions safely

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has encouraged the use of turn assistance safety functions in vehicles, particularly for elderly drivers who might benefit from advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) features meant to assist vehicles drive through junctions, according to a report published by IIHS on 16 June 2022.
