Hyundai Steel develops low-noise steel alloy for EV reduction gears
Gearboxes made using the new alloy are expected to be used in Kia’s high-performance EV6 GT electric model
The Korea Herald reported on 9 June that Korean steel manufacturer Hyundai Steel had developed a new steel alloy designed for application in reduction gears in gearboxes equipped in electric vehicles (EVs).
