CATL plans to invest USD1.79 billion in setting up its battery production base in Zhaoqing High-tech Zone
China’s largest battery maker Contemporary Amperex Technology Limited (CATL) has commenced production operations at its first EV battery plant situated in Zhaoqing production base, which is located in Zhaoqing High-tech Zone, south China’s Guangdong Province, the company said on 30 May 2022.
