Statkraft signs long-term renewable energy supply deal with H2 Green Steel

The renewable energy will be used to power an 800MW electrolyzer that will produce hydrogen necessary to decarbonize the steelmaking process

Swedish low-carbon emission steel company H2 Green Steel announced via press release on 8 June that it had signed a 7-year contract for renewable energy with Norwegian energy company Statkraft.
