Buick plans all-electric portfolio by 2030, first electric car to launch in 2024
Buick also unveiled Wildcat EV concept, sharing its vision for the 119-year-old brand’s new design direction as it begins to transform for an all-electric future
General Motors owned Buick announced on 1 June 2022 that the brand plans to become fully electric in North America by the end of 2030 and that this transformation will be led by a new badge and brand identity. Buick’s electrification plans are aligned with its parent company General Motors, which has laid down its own strategy to become a leading player in the emerging EV market in the US in the midterm.
