BMW recalls vehicles in the US over sunroof software issue
Sunroof may close without key fob inside the vehicle
BMW of North America is recalling more than 61,221 vehicles due to faulty sunroof control unit that allows them to be closed without the key fob being present in the car, ConsumerAffairs reported on 23 May. The closing of sunroof is a violation of federal regulations under “Power-operated window systems” that could cause an injury to unattended humans or animals in the vehicle.
