The company failed to monitor the driving records of the safety drivers on its testing permit

Pony.ai's licence to test its autonomous car technology with a driver was withdrawn by the California Department of Motor Vehicles on Tuesday for failing to monitor the driving histories of the safety drivers listed on its testing permit, according to a report published by TechCrunch on 25 May 2022.
