Mercedes-Benz recalls 292,287 vehicles in US over braking issue
Corroded brake booster leads to faulty braking
Mercedes-Benz USA has issued a ‘do not drive’ recall for around 292,287 ML-, GL- and R-Class vehicles citing a potential corroded brake booster issue, which could affect braking capability, according to a safety report released by The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on 12 May. The affected vehicles include Model Year (MY) 2006-2012.
