Maruti Suzuki reports 1.6% y/y drop in vehicle output due to chip shortage
Maruti Suzuki is the latest automaker to be impacted by the semiconductor crisis
Maruti Suzuki has reported that its production volume dipped slightly by 1.6% to 157,392 units in April 2022, owing to the shortage of electronic components including semiconductors, according to a report published by HT Auto on 2 May 2022. The company said that it produced 159,955 units in April 2021.
