New components reduce CO2 over the product lifecycle through utilization of biomaterials
Japanese supplier Toyoda Gosei has developed cellulose nanofiber (CNF)-reinforced plastic with the intent of reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) over the lifecycle of automotive components from raw material procurement and production to recycling and disposal stage, according to a press release published by the company on 13 April.
