Nissan’s collaboration with the US space program, as well as the University of California San Diego, involves the testing of various materials used in the development of EV batteries

Japanese carmaker Nissan Motor Corporation is working with US’ National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to jointly develop an all-solid-state battery that can not only charge faster but also be safer than the currently used lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries in electric cars, a report filed by CBS News on 8 April 2022 said, citing the automaker.
