5GAA launches live trial of 5G connected car concept in Virginia, US
The live trial will be conducted on the Virginia Smart Road operated by the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute
The 5G Automotive Association (5GAA) has announced the organization of a live trial for a new driver and pedestrian safety concept with near-real-time notification of roadway hazards through 5G and edge technologies in Blacksburg, Virginia, according to an official press release on 23 March.
