Operations at Suzuki Motor Gujarat’s BEV and EV battery plants are slated to begin in 2025 and 2026, respectively

Japanese carmaker Suzuki Motor Corporation (SMC) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the state of Gujarat, India to invest about JPY150 billion (USD1.26 billion) on local manufacturing of electric vehicles (EVs) and EV batteries, the company said in a regulatory filing on 20 March 2022.
