A 7.4-magnitude earthquake jolted the country's northeast triggering a tsunami

Japan-based chipmaker Renesas Electronics and component maker Murata Manufacturing halted some of its production after a 7.4-magnitude earthquake jolted the country's northeast, according to a report published by Reuters on 17 March.
