Mercedes-Benz to build a new 2,500-ton battery material recycling plant in Kuppenheim
The new plant will use an innovative hydrometallurgy process technology that boosts material recovery rates to over 96%
German luxury automaker Mercedes-Benz announced via press release on 11 March that it would be building its own lithium-ion battery material recycling plant in Kuppenheim, southern Germany, in conjunction with technology partners Primobius and other renowned research institutes.
