Sanctions imposed by EU and the US are expected to complicate trade relations with Russia

Hyundai Motor announced that the South Korean automaker had cancelled plans to restart operations at its manufacturing facility in Russia, according to a press release published by Automobil News on 9 March. The automaker initially paused operations at its St Petersburg plant due to semiconductor shortage and slated to renew production on 9 March, but due to supply chain disruptions, operations have been delayed.
