Russia-Ukraine conflict: Volkswagen stops production line due to component shortage
BMW and Mercedes-Benz has also halted production in Germany due to components shortage that are produced in Ukraine
German automaker Volkswagen has halted its production line at its home plant in Wolfsburg in Germany by at least a week due to a shortage in parts supply that are manufactured in Ukraine, according to a report published by Automotive News Europe on 7 March 2022.
