Volkswagen to invest USD2.19 billion in setting up a new EV plant in Germany
Volkswagen’s all-new EV manufacturing plant, which will come up near the main plant in Wolfsberg, will roll out the electric sedan under its Project Trinity in 2026
German carmaker Volkswagen AG plans to invest EUR2 billion (USD2.19 billion) in setting up a new manufacturing plant in Germany to produce the Trinity electric model, the company said on 4 March 2022.
