Issues include the immediate supply of Ukrainian-made wiring harnesses to Europe as well as the long-term supply of palladium for the semiconductor and catalytic converter market.
Military operations by Russian armed forces in Ukraine since the 24 February and the subsequent economic sanctions placed on Russia by international states has raised concerns about the possibility of supply chain and price inflation issues for materials and components critical for the global automotive industry.
