Cummins acquires commercial vehicle supplier Meritor for USD3.7 billion
The acquisition will allow the engine manufacturer to develop and supply integrated powertrain solutions across combustion and electric power applications.
US automotive powertrain manufacturing company Cummins announced via press release on 22 February that it would be acquiring Michigan-based commercial vehicle systems manufacturer Meritor for USD3.7 billion in a cash and assumed debt deal.
