Bosch to invest USD280.13 million to expand semiconductor production in Reutlingen

Expansion is in response to the growing semiconductor and MEMS sensors demand globally

Bosch announced plans to further expand its wafer fab in Reutlingen, Germany with an investment of EUR250 million (USD280.13) to establish new production space and essential clean-room facilities between now and 2025, the company said in a press release on 22 February. According to Bosch, this new facility is expected to cater to the growing demand for chips used in mobility and IoT applications.
