French EV battery startup Verkor to set up its first Gigafactory at Dunkirk
The Gigafactory is expected to have a production capacity of 16 GWh in 2025, scaled up to 50 GWh by 2030
French electric vehicle (EV) battery technology startup Verkor, which is backed by Renault Group, plans to set up the company's first Gigafactory at the port city of Dunkirk, France, the company announced on 1 February 2022.
