Faurecia completes acquisition of lighting and electronics supplier HELLA

The transaction leads to creating the seventh-largest automotive supplier globally and a global market leader in the automotive high-technology area

Faurecia announces the completion of lighting and electronics specialist HELLA’s acquisition after receiving all necessary regulatory approvals, it said in a press release on 31 January. Through the transaction, Faurecia acquired 79.5% of the shares in HELLA, including the 60% share package of the HELLA pool shareholders as well as around 19.5% as part of the public takeover offer ended on 11 November 2021.
