Solvay partners with Trillium to develop sustainable carbon fiber
The chemical company intends to start manufacturing carbon fiber using Trillium’s bio-acrylonitrile instead of petroleum-based polyacrylonitrile
Belgian chemical company Solvay announced via press release on 12 January that it had signed a letter of intent with American chemical company Trillium Renewable Chemicals to develop a supply chain for bio-based acrylonitrile (bio-ACN).
