Freyr Battery partners with Aleees to develop new LFP cathode plant in the Nordic region
The new JV will start supplying cathode material to Freyr’s Norwegian battery manufacturing plant from 2024
Norwegian battery startup Freyr Battery announced via press release on 11 January that it will be forming a joint venture (JV) with Taiwanese cathode material producer Aleees to establish a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cathode material plant in the Nordic region.
