Dongfeng Honda to set up a new dedicated EV production plant in China
The planned EV plant will come up in Wuhan Economic Development Zone with an annual production capacity of 120,000 units
Honda Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd., a wholly owned Honda subsidiary in China, announced on 6 January 2022 that Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co., Ltd., plans to build a new dedicated EV production plant in an attempt to create a sufficient production system and capability to prepare for the expansion of its EV lineup in the future.
