GAC Group teams up with WeRide and On Time for development and mass production of Robotaxis
WeRide will provide full-stack self-driving systems in its latest collaboration, while GAC will manufacture the cars
According to a 16 December press release on KrASIA, Guangzhou-based WeRide, an autonomous driving startup known in China for its robotaxi and robobus pilot programs, announced on 14 December that the company has received a strategic investment from major automaker Guangzhou Automobile Group, or GAC Group.
