Solvay invests in Li-metal battery startup Sepion
Sepion’s technology prevents the growth of dendrites and extends the life cycle of EV batteries
Belgian chemical company Solvay announced via press release on 18 November that the company's venture capital fund, Solvay Ventures, had invested in Sepion, a California-based startup that specializes in developing batteries with Li-metal anodes and liquid electrolytes.
