General Motors, LG Energy Solution evaluating third battery plant in the US
GM has already begun work on building its battery cell plants in Lordstown, Ohio, and Spring Hill, Tennessee
General Motors and its battery partner LG Energy Solution, within the framework of their Ultium cells joint venture, are evaluating a new USD2.5 billion battery cell manufacturing plant for electric vehicles, according to a report filed by Automotive News on 10 December 2021.
